I'm planning to cycle around some of Sri Lanka for about 3 weeks in September '15 on my trusty Surly bike.
I was interested to note that Sri Lanka is slightly smaller in area than Ireland & Tasmania (see picture)… about half the size of Greece, twice the size of Belgium, and 11 times the size of Bali. Its coastline is 1340km (Tasmania’s is about 2500km) and the highest peak is 2514m (the highest in Tasmania is 1617m).
